On the occasion of the second anniversary of the consecration (Pran Pratishtha) of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, special religious rituals are being held at the Ram Temple premises today. Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are participating in these special ceremonies. The Defence Minister will remain at the Ram Temple until 3:20 pm, during which he will take part in the rituals and offer prayers to Ram Lalla.
It may be recalled that the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla’s idol was held in 2024 on the Dwadasi day of the Paush Shukla fortnight.
On the second anniversary of Ram Lalla’s consecration, several events are being organised today. Along with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also hoist the flag at the Maa Annapurna Temple. The Defence Minister and the Chief Minister will also address the public at Angad Tila, near the exit gate of the Ram Temple.
