Axiom 4 Space Mission Postponed Again Due To Liquid Oxygen Leak | India Today

The Axiom 4 space mission has been postponed due to a liquid oxygen leak detected during fire booster inspection. This comes after an earlier delay due to unfavorable weather conditions. SpaceX and Axiom have not announced a new launch date. The mission includes Group Captain Subhanshu Shukla, set to be the first Indian passport holder to visit the International Space Station. Experts emphasize that such delays are common in manned space missions to ensure safety. The Axiom 4 mission launch, set to carry the first Indian astronaut to the International Space Station, has been delayed due to a liquid oxygen leak detected during pre-launch testing. SpaceX identified the issue during a hot test of the Falcon 9 rocket boosters. This marks the second delay for the mission, with no new launch date announced yet. The delay could extend the quarantine period for the astronauts, including Group Captain Subhanshu Shukla from India.
