The AX-4 crew has returned to Earth, concluding their mission with a splashdown in a SpaceX Dragon capsule. The landing occurred at night in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego, Southern California. The spacecraft’s descent was slowed from approximately 350 miles per hour to about 16 miles per hour following the deployment of its four main parachutes. A confirmation announced the event: "And we have Splashdown of the AX-4 crew back on planet Earth. Welcome home." Following the landing, support teams from SpaceX and Axiom initiated the process to recover the crew and the vehicle. The spacecraft’s condition was reported as ‘Stable 1’ after landing.
