A nine-seater aircraft carrying two pilots and four passengers crash-landed near Rourkela in Odisha on Saturday after declaring a MAYDAY call, leaving all six people on board injured, officials said. The plane operated by IndiaOne Air made a forced landing around 15-20 km short of Rourkela airport, averting a major tragedy.
The aircraft, a Cessna Grand Caravan 208B bearing registration VT-KSS, was operating flight IOA102 from Bhubaneswar to Rourkela. It departed Bhubaneswar at around 12.25 pm IST with two pilots and four passengers on board.
