An Iranian man has reportedly died by suicide after posting a video urging U.S. President Donald Trump to abandon negotiations and take action against Iran’s ruling clerical regime.
In the nearly 11-minute video, Pouria Hamidi accused Iranian authorities of violently suppressing protests and appealed directly to Washington for foreign intervention. Speaking in English, Hamidi said any deal with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei would betray thousands he claimed were killed during the crackdown.
His death comes as Iran intensifies arrests of activists and reformist figures while simultaneously signaling openness to further nuclear negotiations with the United States. The video has since gone viral, drawing global attention to Iran’s internal unrest and the high-stakes diplomatic moment between Tehran and Washington.
