A fire tore through a seven-storey office building in Indonesia’s capital Jakarta on Tuesday, killing at least 17 people and sending thick black smoke billowing over the central city. The blaze, which broke out around midday in the Terra Drone Indonesia building, was later brought under control as firefighters evacuated trapped workers and carried out multiple bodies. Authorities say the death toll could rise as search and cooling operations continue.
