He addressed his ‘Jai Palestine’ slogan in Parliament, stating he has written to the Prime Minister urging India to airdrop aid in Gaza and condemn the ongoing ‘genocide,’ arguing that one cannot aspire for India to be a ‘Vishwa Guru’ by targeting minorities. He drew parallels between the current situation of Muslims in India and the initial stages of the Jewish genocide. The interview also touched upon his admiration for former Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee, his journey as a parliamentarian, and his brief cricket career where he once took six wickets in a university match against a team featuring future Indian bowler Venkatesh Prasad.
