AIMIM MP Asaddudin Owaisi, who will be part of the govt’s international outreach delegations to key partner countries said to PTI on Saturday that the message the delegations want to take is that India has been a victim of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism, and that Pakistan has become a threat to humanity today.
"The message we want to take is that India has been a victim of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism and the whole country is seeing that for year right from the era of Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq, Kandahar plane hijack-how we had to release the terrorists, 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, Pathankot, Parliament, Uri attacks. Last year in Reasi, seven tourists were killed. Now, Pahalgam. They (Pakistan) has become threat for humanity as they are training the terrorists and sending them to India, giving them weapons…Whatever it is, India has to take a stand. It is also important to reject Pakistan’s projection that its a Muslim country. In India there re 20 crore Muslims," he said in an exclusive conversation with PTI’s Editor-in-chief Vijay Joshi.
