Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced his intention to resign on the 17th of September. This has sparked numerous questions within political circles. Both the BJP and the Congress party have questioned why Kejriwal needs another 48 hours to submit his resignation. The BJP has also claimed that there is infighting within the Aam Aadmi Party and that Kejriwal is trying to ensure his wife, Sunita Kejriwal, is accepted as the next Chief Minister. However, sources have told India Today that she is not in the race to be the next Chief Minister.
