A Hindu grocery store owner, Moni Chakraborty, was reportedly killed in Bangladesh’s Narsingdi district after being attacked with sharp weapons late Monday night. His death marks the second such incident involving a Hindu man within 24 hours.
Earlier the same day, a 45-year-old factory owner and acting newspaper editor, Rana Pratap, was shot dead in the Jashore district. Local sources said multiple cases had previously been filed against him.
