He claimed that Rahul Gandhi is attempting to ‘mislead the country’s fishermen and farmers’ by spreading misinformation about these international trade deals without understanding the details. Shah further stated that Gandhi has started a ‘new tradition of telling lies daily’ to incite a revolution. During the address, the Home Minister expressed confidence that the NDA government under PM Modi’s leadership would return to power in the 2029 Lok Sabha elections. The remarks come as a rebuttal to the Congress leader’s recent criticisms regarding the impact of global trade policies on India’s primary sectors.
