He referenced the Allahabad High Court’s 1975 verdict against Indira Gandhi and a petition questioning Sonia Gandhi’s voting rights before citizenship. Shah asserted, ‘Illegals will not be permitted to decide who the Prime Minister and Chief Ministers in this country will be.’ The Opposition staged a walkout, with Rahul Gandhi challenging Shah to a debate.
