Shashi Tharoor, who led the delegation, described the meeting as ‘outstanding’ and said Vance was ‘totally supportive’ of India’s stand on the Pahalgam terror attack and its aftermath. The delegation emphasized that there can be no equivalence between those who harbour terrorists and victims of terrorism. The meeting also covered future collaboration in areas including AI.
