Alfala University's Fake Accreditation Scandal Amidst Explosives Probe

This special report covers the show-cause notice issued by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to Alfala University for displaying false and expired accreditation on its website. The report also details police searches in a market near the university, linked to the recovery of explosives, including NPK fertilizers and ammonium nitrate, from the rented house of a Dr. Muzammil in Faridabad as part of a probe into what the report calls the J.H. Tedra module. A local shopkeeper, reacting to the developments, stated, ‘He has ruined everything here. People from outside have come here and defamed us.’ The university has since acknowledged the fault and removed the misleading information regarding its A-grade accreditation, which had long expired.
