The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has accused the SP of using a religious place for political discussions, effectively turning it into a party office. BJP leaders also objected to Dimple Yadav’s attire, claiming her uncovered head and blouse were inappropriate for a mosque. In response, Akhilesh Yadav accused the BJP of using religion as a tool to divide people, stating, "Faith unites, the faith of any religion unites, and we are with those who work to unite." Dimple Yadav denied that any political meeting occurred, calling the allegations misleading.
