Bombardier Learjet 45 – the ill-fated plane that crashed in Baramati with Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and four others on board on Wednesday morning – was airworthy and there were no technical issues with it, a preliminary probe has found. The crew, including both pilots, were licenced and medically fit for flight, according to the report.
As a result of the deadly crash, all five on board, including Pawar, were charred to death, sending shockwaves across the nation.
