An Air India Dreamliner 787 has crashed in Ahmedabad, resulting in 240 fatalities. This is the first such incident for the Dreamliner globally. Investigative agencies, including DGCA and US teams, are at the crash site. The investigation focuses on flight data recorders and cockpit voice recorders. Prime Minister held a meeting with DGCA officials and other authorities to take stock of the situation. DNA samples are being collected from relatives for identification purposes.
