The Air India flight AI171, a London-bound Boeing 787 Dreamliner, crashed shortly after takeoff in Ahmedabad. The plane plummeted into the BJ Medical College hostel complex. DNA testing is being conducted to identify victims, with 32 samples matched so far. Former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani was among the identified victims. Families are waiting for DNA identification to claim the bodies of their loved ones.
