The summit featured the launch of Sarvam AI, India’s first sovereign generative AI brand, featuring models like Bulbul V3 that support 22 official languages. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw emphasized AI’s potential in solving real-world problems in agriculture and healthcare. Additionally, Reliance Jio unveiled its ‘Jio Glass’ smart frames, while Wipro showcased AI-powered remote surgery solutions. Despite volatility in IT stocks, Bandopadhyay highlighted growth potential in the BFSI, specialty chemicals, and auto-ancillary sectors, noting that Indian companies are becoming integral to global supply chains. The event also saw major commitments from NVIDIA and Qualcomm to bolster India’s AI infrastructure and venture funding.
