The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has released its initial report on the Air India crash. The report reveals that both engines shut down within seconds after takeoff due to fuel supply switches transitioning from ‘run’ to ‘cut-off’ position. The cockpit recorder indicates pilots were confused about the sudden fuel cut-off. The crash occurred just 32 seconds after liftoff, with the entire flight lasting only 94 seconds. No bird strike or bad weather conditions were found to be factors. The report does not currently assign blame to Air India, the pilots, or Boeing. International experts, including those from NTSB, GE, Boeing, and FAA, have been involved in the investigation. The fuel switch fault issue is under scrutiny, as it may not have been inspected before the flight. #airindiacrash #aircraftsafety #aviationinvestigation #itwebvideos #aaib #boeing #fuelsystemfault #civilaviation
