After Tamil Nadu, Karnataka cabinet moves to pull out of NEET

Karnataka will scrap NEET and introduce state-specific assessments or revert to CET. The state opposes ‘One Nation, One Election’ and population-based delimitation, fearing increased representation for North Indian states. These decisions, made in a cabinet meeting on Monday, aim to support disadvantaged students. Legislative resolutions will be introduced soon.
