After A Landslide Victory, BJP Seeks Meeting With L-G VK Saxena Today To Stake Claim To Form Govt
Winning a landslide mandate of 48 seats out of 70 in the Delhi Assembly, the BJP is all set to form the next government in Delhi after a gap of 27 years. A day after the results, Delhi BJP Chief Virendra Sachdeva wrote to L-G V.K. Saxena, seeking time for a meeting with the 48 newly elected party MLAs. Earlier, AAP leader and Chief Minister Atishi tendered her resignation to the Delhi L-G, who has asked her to continue until the ruling party stakes its claim to form the government.
