Afghanistan Claims Capture Of Pakistani Outposts Amid TTP Tensions Along Durand Line Border

Afghanistan has claimed to have captured multiple Pakistani military outposts along the border between the two countries. The captured locations include Babrak Tana, three outposts in Ghashi Kando and Munawara, two in Barikot and Nari, one in Dokalam Nari, five in Durbaba, and two in Gaushk. Most escalations are concentrated in the northern border region. Pakistan has accused Afghanistan of harboring the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), blaming Taliban-controlled Afghanistan for recent bombings within Pakistan. Afghanistan has denied these allegations. An external commentator stated that Pakistan is responsible for terrorism in Afghanistan, claiming Pakistani proxies created and deployed terrorist groups including the TTP and Taliban to Afghanistan, and that the Pakistani ISI maintains links with terrorist networks threatening India, Iran, and Russia.
