The protesting junior doctors in Kolkata placed an 8 point demand to Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee after she invited them for a meeting. The junior doctors demand to live stream their meeting was earlier refused by the TMC leader after which the doctors held a press conference stating their demands.
The junior doctors in Kolkata have refused to resume work after death of a trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College and hospital. Relentless in their demand for justice the doctors have refused to follow Supreme Court directives of resuming work and continue their protest against the Mamata administration and their attempt to cover-up the case.
