The first images of Tahawur Rana’s handover to Indian authorities by US Marshals have been revealed. The 64-year-old Pakistani-origin Canadian citizen, wanted for his role in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, was transferred from US custody to representatives of India’s Ministry of External Affairs and the National Investigation Agency. The extradition comes after years of legal battles and diplomatic efforts between India and the United States.
