The feud reportedly started over Moitra’s proposal to open a Bengali sweet shop in Parliament. TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee has issued a gag order, asking MPs to remain silent on the issue. The BJP has seized the opportunity to criticize the TMC, claiming this exposes factionalism within the party.
