Congress Inaugurates New Delhi HQ Amidst Controversy Over Naming

The Congress party inaugurated its new headquarters at 9A Kotla Road in Delhi, moving from the iconic 24 Akbar Road address. Senior leaders including Sonia Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge attended the event. The inauguration sparked controversy with posters demanding the building be named after former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh instead of the planned ‘Indira Bhavan’. The party will retain its old headquarters alongside the new office.
