BJP’s rebel Gopal Shetty has withdrawn his nomination, pledging support for the BJP. Amid the rebellion woes, Samajwadi party MLA’s Rai Sheikh has written to Maha Vikas Aghadi to make a 10,000 crore budget for Muslims. The poll body has ordered the transfer of Maharashtra DGP, Rashmi Shukla, after complaints of bias in favour of the BJP.
