Over 5 days nearly 11 people have been arrested on charges of spying for Pakistan in multiple states amid a nationwide crackdown on those involved in espionage activities in the aftermath of the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.
Among the most prominent arrests made was a Haryana-based travel vlogger named Jyoti Malhotra, who was arrested for allegedly leaking sensitive information. Other accused arrested are students, a security guard, commoners and an app developer. All the 6 of the 11 arrested in three states – Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. Union Home Minister Amit Shah Today took on Pakistan saying that Operation Sindoor has completely exposed Pakistan before the world and proved that the terrorism in India is Pakistan-sponsored. Speaking at the 22nd Border Security Force Investiture Ceremony and the Rustamji Memorial Lecture, he praised the Indian Armed Forces and also credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for transforming India’s counter-terrorism strategy and enabling decisive actions like Operation Sindoor. Highlighting India’s restraint and precision, he said, "We neither destroyed any Pakistani military installation nor did we ever target an airbase. We only and only destroyed terrorist camps, those who committed crimes on our land."…listen in to this..
