In a shocking incident, a woman said her 82-year-old grandmother, booked on an Air India flight, fell and suffered brain stroke after being denied a wheelchair at the Delhi airport. The incident took place four days’ ago, on March 4. Heart-wrenching visuals showed the elderly bleeding from one eye and cheek after the fall at the airport. Even as a top advisor to the Centre hit out at the Air India over the incident, the carrier issued an unapologetic and templated response. Despite facing severe flak, the airline put out a detailed media statement claiming that the elderly arrived at the departure terminal two hours late.
A horrifying crime has emerged from Karnataka’s Hampi, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where two women, including an Israeli tourist, were raped, and three male tourists were assaulted and thrown into a canal. One of the men, a tourist from Odisha , was found dead on Friday morning, sparking outrage and a large-scale police investigation. The incident occurred late on Thursday night between 11:00 PM and 11:30 PM near Sanapur Lake, a popular tourist spot about 4 km from Hampi.

The bodies of three Hindu civilians, who went missing from Kathua district in Jammu on Friday, have been found in the upper reaches of Billawar on Saturday. Security forces located the bodies using drone surveillance. A terror group affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba has claimed responsibility for the killings.
