Sonam Raghuvanshi allegedly plotted with her boyfriend Raj Khushwaha to kill her husband Raja Raghuvanshi just three days after their wedding. The police have made arrests and shocking details have emerged about the conspiracy, including the use of hired killers and attempts to cover up the crime. The investigation spans across Meghalaya, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Raja Raghuvanshi was found dead near a waterfall in Shillong, where the couple had gone for their honeymoon. His wife Sonam is accused of hiring contract killers for 10 lakh rupees to carry out the murder.
