A terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir has left one person dead and at least 11 injured, including tourists and locals. The attack took place in a popular tourist spot away from the main road. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, currently in Jeddah, had a telephonic conversation with Home Minister Amit Shah about the incident and directed him to visit the site and take suitable measures. The incident has raised concerns about security in the region, especially with the upcoming Amarnath Yatra set to begin in July. Security forces have launched operations to track down the terrorists responsible.
