The Indian Army successfully thwarted an ambush attempt by a Pakistani Border Action Team along the Line of Control in the Krishna Ghati sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch-Rajouri area, resulting in the deaths of seven Pakistani infiltrators, including at least 2-3 serving Pakistan Army personnel and an officer, on the night of February 4-5. The incident took place near an Indian Army forward post. In a related development, Hamas representatives attended a terror conclave in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir alongside leaders of Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Taiba. The event, titled ‘Kashmir Solidarity and Al-Aqsa Flood Conference’, was held in PoK’s Rahwalpur. Dr. Khalid Al-Qadumi, Hamas’ representative in Iran, participated in the meeting, marking the first visit of a Hamas leader to PoK.
