The 1985 bombing of Kanishka Air India Flight 182, one of the deadliest terrorist attacks in aviation history, has been linked to Canadian intelligence. The plane, travelling from Montreal to Delhi, exploded midair, killing all 329 passengers and crew members. Two investigations in Canada indicted ISI-backed pro-Khalistan Canadian terrorists as the masterminds. However, documents released by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police suggest that Canadian Security and Intelligence Service had a mole in the plot, who was pulled out at the last minute.
