Five individuals, including a 13-year-old girl, died and several others were injured when a mini bus collided with a parked truck near Nelogi Cross in Jewargi taluk early Saturday. The victims were heading to a dargah in Kalaburagi district. Police are pursuing the mini bus driver who fled the scene.
