A total of 35 civilians have been confirmed dead following protests in Pakistan against American-Israeli strikes on Iran and the assassination of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Deaths include 16 in Karachi, 7 in Gilgit, 6 in Skardu, and 6 in Islamabad. In Karachi, hundreds of demonstrators stormed the consulate, chanting slogans and opening fire before security forces responded. Protesters set fire to a United Nations office in Skardu and damaged nearby buildings. The US Embassy in Islamabad and consulates in Karachi and Lahore suspended all visa and American citizen services due to ongoing violent protests. Meanwhile, the US military campaign Operation Epic Fury continues with strikes on Iranian targets using B-2 bombers and Tomahawk cruise missiles. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards claim they struck the USS Abraham Lincoln with ballistic missiles, which US Central Command has rejected, stating the carrier remains fully operational.
