The anti-terror operation, ‘Operation Akhal,’ in the Kulgam forest area of Jammu and Kashmir, has entered its fourth day. Firing and explosions continued through the night in the dense, treacherous terrain. So far, three terrorists have been killed and four soldiers injured in the operation which began on Friday evening. According to a reporter on the ground, "this is now the one of the longest operations in the Kashmir valley in 2025". The presence of more terrorists is suspected as retrieval of a slain terrorist’s body was met with "firing coming from multiple sides". Elite para forces, attack helicopters, and drones are being used in this extensive operation, which is being monitored by senior police and army officials.
