A three-story building collapsed in Lucknow’s Transport Nagar, resulting in eight fatalities and dozens of severe injuries. A joint SDRF and NDRF rescue operation is ongoing, with 28 people rescued so far. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to ensure prompt rescue efforts and proper medical treatment for the injured. The building was old and dilapidated. Rescue teams are using JCB machines to search for those still trapped.
