130th Constitutional Amendment Bill: Positives Outshines The Negative | Arnab’s View
In tonight’s explosive debate, Arnab Goswami weighs in the pros and cons of the 130th Constitutional Amendment Bill, which was tabled by Amit Shah in Lok Sabha on 20th August 2020.
The 130th Constitutional Amendment Bill basically seeks to remove a Central or State Minister who is facing allegations of corruption or serious offences and has been detained for at least 30 days and has been referred to a Joint Committee.
The bill aims to amend Article 75, which primarily deals with the appointment and responsibilities of the Council of Ministers, including the Prime Minister.
However, the opposition got furious over the bill. They even threw pieces of the paper bill at Amit Shah.
