Thirteen individuals lost their lives in a tragic collision between a van and a lorry at Gundenahalli cross in Byadagi Taluk, Karnataka. The accident, which occurred on National Highway 48, resulted in casualties while the injured were taken to Haveri Government Hospital for treatment. Anshu Kumar Srivastava, the superintendent of police (Haveri), provided insights into the incident to news agency PTI.
