A terror blast in a car outside Delhi’s Red Fort on November 10 resulted in at least 12 fatalities and over 20 injuries. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is leading the probe, which has uncovered a ‘white-collar’ terror module linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed. The investigation is focused on several doctors from Faridabad’s Al-Fala University. The suspected suicide bomber, Dr. Mohammad Umar, allegedly detonated the explosive-laden vehicle after the arrests of his associates in a related terror bust in Faridabad, where authorities had seized nearly 2,900 kg of explosives. Another key figure, Dr. Shaheen Shahid, was reportedly tasked with establishing a women’s wing for Jaish-e-Mohammed in India. The investigation into the multi-state terror network remains ongoing.
